Josue Carpio
Hello! My name is Josue Carpio, Regimental Commanding Officer. I am honored to be the head of the Linden High School NJROTC Program. My role is to oversee and ensure our unit is thriving in all areas and I absolutely love our unit and everyone in it. I am a part of three different National Honor Societies and take part in many clubs within and outside NJROTC. This year I’ve been able to be the Varsity Swim Team Captain here at LHS and have also had the privilege to be involved in Leadership Academy (LA/ST) for our area.

Denae Griffin
Hi! My name is Denae Griffin, Regimental Executive Officer. I am honored to be second in command over a regiment of over 500 cadets. Aside from ROTC, I am heavily involved in my school. I am a member of the NHS. I am a part of many clubs, including the drama club, Chinese club, ASL club, and more. I enjoy taking on many leadership roles in LHS, such as being a student director for this year’s school play. I am also a member of the varsity tennis and track and field team.

Alivia Young-Bey
Hello! My name is Alivia Young Bey, and I’m the Regimental Operations Officer. I do the logistics/behind the scenes work for majority of the events that happen within the unit, I’m extremely proud to serve a unit with over 500 cadets. I take IB and AP courses and participate in many extracurriculars within the unit and the school, such as being in the National Honors Society (NHS), JA Finance, Drama Club, Chinese club, Forensic Science Club, and more. I’m majoring in Biology on a Pre-Dental track at Nova Southeastern University, FL.

Alonzo Smith
Greetings! My name is Alonzo Smith, and I am the regimental command Master Chief. I assist all enlisted cadets in our NJROTC program, while aiding and advising to the officers. I take on advanced IB and AP courses at this school. I am the captain of the LHS marching band and take part in many clubs here at Linden high school. I enjoy listening to music and playing the drums. I am also a prominent and active member of my church, which I attend multiple times a week with family.

Mackenzie Salazar
Hi, my name is Mackenzie Salazar! I am proud to be a member of the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society. In addition to my academic achievements, I am actively involved in extracurricular activities. I serve as a class secretary, and I’m honored to be the First Battalion Commanding Officer. I’m also a member of the girl’s tennis team and a proud LA/ST graduate.

Hello! My name is Erika Martinez. I am the First Battalion XO. I plan on going to the Marine Corps after I graduate from Linden high school. I take part in many extracurricular activities such as managing for soccer, wrestling, and playing flag football.

Claudia Buczynski
Hi, my name is Claudia Buczynski, and I plan to go into the aviation industry. At Linden High School, I serve as Vice President of the Class of 2025, Captain of the Girls’ Cross Country Team, and have been involved in soccer, volleyball, and track. I am also a member of NHS, Rho Kappa Gamma, and serve as the treasurer of SNHS. Additionally, I’m the 2nd Battalion Commander for NJROTC and a proud LA/ST graduate.

Angel Ramirez
Hello! My name is Angel Moreno Ramirez, and I am the Second Battalion XO. I enlisted in the Army National Guard last year. I graduated in September from boot camp, and after high school I will continue with infantry training this summer. During my high school year, I participated in various clubs and was a member of the Linden High School baseball team.

Hi, I’m Jaila Piña. I plan on majoring in psychology. I’ve done extra curriculars around the school such as being involved in Spanish NHS, JA finance, and Model UN. But above all I’m the 3rd Battalion Commander of our NJROTC program.

Hi! I’m Becky Trigoso. I plan on studying Criminal Justice at Felician College. I do extra-curricular activities around the school such as being the Linden Girls Wresting Varsity Captain, I’m also the 3rd Battalion XO for NJROTC.

Hello, my name is Sierra Gonzalez. I am attending Kean University for Forensic psychology, and I plan to become a Customs and Border Protection Officer after I graduate. I am the voice of LHS (I do the announcements). I student-teach not only in my battalion in ROTC but also a 9th-grade biology class here at LHS. Lastly, I am the Varsity Football Team Manager.​​​

Brianna Churampi
Hello, my name is Brianna Churampi, and I am the 4th Battalion XO, Outside of NJROTC, I challenge myself in AP and IB classes and I am a member of Spanish NHS. I plan on studying Forensic Psychology, to join the FBI-BAU. I am also an active member of my church, where I help teach youth.​​​

Hi! I’m Olivia Pudelko. I plan on studying aerospace engineering at Pennsylvania State University and then commissioning to the Navy as a pilot. I do various extracurricular activities around the school such as being a host on TNT news, the NHS secretary, the Girls Varsity Tennis Captain, and most importantly I'm the 5th battalion commander for NJROTC

Hello! My name is Guneet Sandhu. I am going to be studying Pre-Law at Rutgers University and plan on commissioning to the Navy as a JAG. I take part in multiple extra curriculars activities such as being a singer in the LHS Madrigals, am a member of the Science NHS, Spanish NHS, and Rho-Kappa Social Studies NHS. I play as a pitcher in the Girls Varsity Softball Team period alongside my academic achievements, the accomplishment that I am most proud of is my role as the 5th Battalion Executive Officer of the LHS NJ ROTC unit.

Hello! My name is Sheyla Caly and I am the 6th Battalion Commanding Officer. I will be studying Political Science with a Concentration in International Relations at Monmouth University. I was accepted into their Honors School and a 4+1 program where I will be pursuing my master’s in Criminal Justice. Apart from my NJROTC career, I am also the President of the Class of 2025, the Student Representative on the Linden Board of Education, a member of three different National Honor Societies, a LA/ST graduate, and an active member of my church.

Hi, my name is Brianna Castroman, I am the 6th Battalion Executive Officer. I will be going to the University of New Haven and majoring in Forensic Chemistry, I am the vice president of both the Forensics and Science Club.
